Inspired by the forest around it, this family home in the country comfortably blends natural materials and views with confident modern accents to create an environment that feels more like a place people live rather than just visit.
I kept some features as I found them – the pine walls and ceiling in the great room, and some well-loved leather sofas to name just a few – which provides an immediate familiarity.
Then, hand-picked accents, like the gorgeous lighting in the great room, were used to breathe in new life. It’s amazing how the perfect element can create the perfect space.
